How it works

How guests order delivery

  1. 01

    A separate delivery menu

Not everything travels well. For delivery, you show the menu you release for it.

  2. 02

    Choose postcode and time

Guests choose their postcode from your list and a delivery time, or as soon as possible. They enter street and house number at checkout.

Delivery zones the way you need them

  • Zones by postcode

Each zone is a postcode with its town. You deliver exactly where it pays off.

  • Delivery fee per zone

Nearby zones cheaper, distant ones more expensive: you set the fee for each zone individually.

  • Minimum order value

One value for all zones or a separate one per zone. Below it, the order cannot be completed.

  • Separate delivery hours

Delivery has its own ordering hours and lead time, separate from pickup and the restaurant.

Platforms

Uber Eats and your own orders in one kitchen

  • Connect Uber Eats

Uber Eats orders arrive in Jamatu as deliveries and appear on the kitchen display. Jamatu accepts them automatically, and cancellations come through too.

  • Manage your menu once

You transfer your menu from OrderAdmin to Uber Eats, including product availability.

  • Other platforms

Platforms with an interface (API) can be connected as well.

How do guests pay for delivery?

Online when ordering. Cash at the door is not supported.

Does Jamatu deliver for me?

No, you handle delivery with your own team. Without your own delivery logistics, you connect Uber Eats and those orders run through the platform.

How far in advance can guests order?

Up to five days, or as soon as possible. No delivery time earlier than your lead time can be chosen.

Does the minimum order also apply to pickup?

No, only to delivery. Pickup, take-away and table orders have none.

What does it cost?

Self-ordering with JamOrder has no licence, set-up or monthly fee. We charge payments by payment method and volume, with no fixed fee per receipt. The rate is set out in your quote.
