Jamatu

Built for Swiss hospitality

From the canton of Zurich, for restaurants, bars, cafés, hotels, take-aways and canteens. POS on a tablet, smartphone or JamTerminal, self-ordering by QR code and at the kiosk, kitchen display and ticket printing, plus the assistant Jonida.

Billing is per venue. Whether you run one POS or have five devices out on the floor, the price stays the same. We provide the payment terminal free of charge, there is no fixed fee per receipt, and the subscription can be cancelled monthly.

helloTESS

The iPad POS from Munich

helloTESS! from TESSERO GmbH in Munich, by its own account with 1'500 customers, 8'000 installed POS systems and 12 years of experience, mainly in Germany. iPad POS for restaurants, quick-service chains, canteens, bars and trade fairs, with mobile ordering, a self-order terminal and interfaces to inventory management and accounting.

In Switzerland, a local representative handles sales. According to a Swiss quote from March 2025, the POS and waiter app are charged per device, back office and support contract come on top as separate items, and the contract has a fixed term of six months.

Who helloTESS suits

No POS system suits every venue. In these cases helloTESS is a good choice.

Wide use in Germany. 8'000 installed POS systems and 12 years of experience, mainly in Germany. If you run venues on both sides of the border, you will find a well-known system there.
Inventory management interfaces. helloTESS connects inventory management and accounting through its own interfaces, for example SimpleOrder and DATEV.

What switching really involves

Sort out contract and devices
First we check how long your contract with the representative runs. You can keep using your iPads; JamWaiter runs on them. If switching only pays off later, we will tell you.
Set up your menu together
We enter items, prices, variants and extras together in one session. Your existing menu as a list is enough to start from.
Onboard your team
We set up the POS on site at your venue and introduce your team to it. You can try the demo yourself in your browser beforehand.

What venues ask us

What does helloTESS cost in Switzerland?

helloTESS does not publish prices. According to a Swiss quote from March 2025, the POS costs CHF 80 per device per month, the waiter app CHF 35 per device, plus back office CHF 45 and support contract CHF 30 a month, all excl. VAT. With us, JamWaiter costs CHF 49 a month, from CHF 35 with prepayment, for the whole venue.

How long am I tied to helloTESS?

According to a Swiss quote from March 2025, the contract has a fixed term of six months and automatically renews for another six months unless cancelled in writing 30 days beforehand. With us, the subscription can be cancelled at the end of any month, and there is no reseller in between.

Can I keep using my iPads?

Yes. JamWaiter runs on iPad, as well as on Android devices and Sunmi. We provide the JamTerminal for POS and card payments free of charge, with at least six months of use.

What happens if the Wi-Fi goes down?

The JamTerminal and smartphones have a SIM card and keep running over 4G, for ordering and payment. A POS that keeps recording offline helps you little with payments: cards and TWINT usually need a connection anyway.

Who is helloTESS a better fit for?

For wide use in Germany and for inventory management interfaces. If that is central for you, helloTESS is a good fit. For everything else, we are happy to work through your case.
