Gewerbliche Berufsschule St. Gallen: the Mampf canteen revolutionised with JamOrder

By introducing JamOrder, the Mampf canteen at the Gewerbliche Berufsschule St. Gallen (GBSSG), the vocational school in St. Gallen, has taken a big step towards digitalisation. The goal was to give students a modern, efficient and fast way to order their meals and to keep waiting times to a minimum.

Since JamOrder was introduced, students can conveniently pre-order their food via the JamOrder app. This not only makes the most of the lunch break but also speeds up food service considerably. At the same time, the canteen benefits from better planning and less food waste, because pre-orders allow quantities to be calculated more precisely.

Highlights with JamOrder

• Shorter waiting times: Students collect their meals at a set time and avoid long queues.

• Ease of use: The app is intuitively designed and tailored to the needs of young users.

• Streamlined processes: The canteen team can organise the day more efficiently and use resources better.

• Sustainability: Less overproduction thanks to more accurate planning of orders.

“JamOrder has helped us take our service for students to a new level. Going digital has made our everyday work easier and given students valuable time”, says the Mampf canteen team.

Feedback from students and teachers has been consistently positive. The ease of use of the app and the flexibility in choosing meals are particularly appreciated. With JamOrder, the Mampf canteen is setting new standards for modern school catering and showing how innovative technology can make life simpler.

The GBSSG success story shows how JamOrder makes not only hospitality but also school catering future-proof.
